bus·y [biz-ee] adjective; not at leisure; otherwise engaged

Are you busy? Too busy? Overworked and overwhelmed?

When friends, colleagues, and family ask you how you are doing, is the first thing out of our mouth:

“Well, I sure have been busy lately!!”

Would the state of your soul be accurately labeled ‘busy’?

We long to live an unhurried life, paying more close attention to the voice of the One who speaks words of life and hope; the LORD is the One who calms our hurried and restless souls. Our souls find rest in God alone.

We have found a great resource in Alan Fadling’s Unhurried Time. If you tweet, you can follow him here. We encourage you to check it out and slow down. May we all live more fully as we learn to live an unhurried life.
